I was reading a forum debate on "Price per drop" for network cabling, and came upon this blurb by one of the cabling contractors.  What are your thoughts?
"Unfortunately, GC’s and customer alike, view low voltage contractors as the least common denominator. Almost an afterthought. If there’s any money left in the budget, throw it at cabling.
Few realize that this is a craft requiring skilled installers. You wouldn’t hire a commercial painter to touch up the Mona Lisa, but some believe this can be done with low voltage. It's only cable afterall. It’s frustrating when I lose bids by 50% to those Yucks in a Truck. How can this be? No skill, no license, no insurance and off-shore parts. I shake my head and move on. "
Is your cabling company a quality company?
